Now in its third year, Rock the River SA was created to provide an exciting alternative to conventional new year’s eve parties. Non-mainstream yet professionally run events are few and far between, but Rock the River SA offers an alternative that promises to fulfil all expectations. We’re talking live South African music in an intimate, safe and natural environment!

More than 100 of SA’s finest local bands and DJs will be rocking the river from three stages including the main stage; the drum and base and dubstep stage; and the metal, goth, hard rock and punk stage.

Bring your friends, your tents, camping chairs, sun block and your singing voice – because it will take a lot for your Auld Lang Syne to compete with the wide variety of musical talent on offer at the Rock the River SA festival.
