This month we played our first games for the season. It was just inters, but also games to start learning our team because we are a young and new team this year. Die 1ste netbalspan van Die Hoërskool Menlopark in Pretoria sê “ Baie dankie Garmin vir die borgskap van 2012!”. Hiermee is ‘n Garmin horlosie met ‘n hartmonitor aan elkeen van die speelsters geskenk wat sodoende die afrigterspan in staat stel om elke speelster individueel te monitor. Die monitering vind plaas wanneer die speelsters passief is, sowel as wanneer hulle oefen en wedstryde speel. Die data wat so bekom word, word gebruik om persoonlike waardetoevoegende afrigrin...

Hi everyone I hope all is going well with the conditioning and skills developments of your athletes. As we are entering into the season the pressure starts to build, especially on those athletes who are injured and eager to get back into action! I would like to congratulate Lerisia Du Toit on playing her first match yesterday after undergoing ankle surgery 3 months ago... Hard work, dedication and the desire to succeed combined with the correct rehab exercises is a winning combination...

After five hectic months of fundraising we eventually collected all the money we needed for our netball tour to New-Zealand from 26 March to 7 April 2012. Not only did we have a rough schedule of fundraising, but also participating in major Netball matches. On 3 March 2012 , High School Fichardtpark, Bloemfontein hosted their annual sports day. Diamantveld High: Bright and shining

It is mid-March 2012 and the Diamonds team is looking strong and fit! We have played in Bloemfontein at Sentraal’s night league. It went very well we finished undefeated which is very good for so early in the season. We also played at the Jim Fouche and Orajne Meisies sports days also finished undefeated! So far so good! There is definitely still area’s on which we need to work hard on and improve, but for now I think that the team’s fitness and basic skills are looking good. ...
