enduroThis past month I have been training up a storm for The Roof of Africa. On the 2 July i raced the Liqourland Kei National Enduro down in P.E and after my bike catching on fire on the first lap I went out again for a second lap and took the Win in the Ladies class. The folloowing weekend 9 July was the Enduro World Cross Country (EWXC) and the Women in Motorsport (WIM) races which fell together as one race, after a tough first 2 laps from a serious amount of arm pump i got a 2nd place in both the EWXC and the WIM race.

Off to Nelspruit on the 30 July for the Northen Regions Harescrambles 4th round. I race in the Under 21 class(OR4) as being the only lady in this class the challenge I have against the boys is just far to fun. The first lap took me much longer then expected due to bottelnecks on the first hill climb but i managed a 5th place. Inbetween all these races i did a ladies training day and took a few ladies who want to improve there skills for a full days riding and learning.

On Womens Day there was a whole motorsport day at Zwartkops Race Track. I was asked by Enduro World to race the extreme enduro event. There were 5 ladies who participated in this event. The race consisted of 3 heats and 4 laps each heat. I took the 1st place in all 3 heats which was very exciting for me. This weekend the 13 August I will be off to P.E again for the Liqourland Winterberg National Enduro, this is the second last National Enduro for the year.enduro
