hotelThe Expedition after a year of preparing is finally started as myself and partner CHUMMER, the Expedition vehicle make our way from Waterfront, Cape Town to Arniston Spa & Hotel.

The hotel hosted the press conference and accommodation, with the local school invited, media and representative from Municipality.

After all the interviews, we made our way to the Southern Most tip ofAfrica , at Cape Agulhas.
The long drive took place toward the next stop at Clanwilliam, via mountain passes which begged using low range to progress,the night was spent at a local residents house as the sponsored lodge in the town, let me down at 19h30 upon arrival.

The next day took some 10 hours as we traverse the Northern Cape into Namibia, the road littered with Namaqua Daisies, Meerkats and rock dassies, Nature has sprung in Spring.

The night spent camping at Quiver Tree Forrest, Keetmanshoop.
Another early start on day 4 is toward the destination of Kalahari Sands Hotel in Windhoek, whereby they will host me for 3 days and a press conference, whilst I undertake paper interviews and a radio interview on Radio Wave.

hotelAfter 3 days of press interviews and meetings, aswell as getting more supplies and Lap Desks. we make our way to some schools en route to Botswana.
The appreciation by both staff and children is infectious and is expected, as it's the norm across Africa rural communities.

The day ends at Ghanzi Arms Hotel camp site, after another long day.

Day 8 is en route via the edge of central Kalahari to the Capital, Gabarone.
