garminMy first impression of the Garmin FR60 model was that I liked the packaging, but would have appreciated a more feminine touch to the design of the watch.

Not being technically savvy meant that I had to study the manual given with the device and if you are pressed for time, it can be quite frustrating, because I found it difficult to understand.
As a trainer you don’t want to waste time prepping the equipment you want to use, but once the preparation was out of the way, the device worked well.  There was no problem with accurate HR and kilojoule reading, which is one of the most common factors measured.

I really like the foot pod that allows you to track distance, which is very helpful when measuring the fitness test distance. The cleverly added memory stick makes it easy to load the data onto the computer and pin point your progress.

I did not make use of the Garmin website and I learnt now that it would have made things a lot easier to understand as the feedback is very good concerning customer service.

In a nut shell, I think it is a brilliant product if the consumer has the time to learn the manual and communicate with the Garmin customer service.  General feedback from clients who use the FR60 on a regular basis state that the device has made reaching their weight loss goals easier, just by being aware of how many calories they burn and can consume.

Thank you for introducing this product to fitness beginners and elite athletes!
